Coffee. Matcha. Mood. The New Go-To Spot in Frankfurt’s Nordend

At the new TOBE Café on Friedberger Landstraße, founder Loubna Meziane brings an international café experience to Frankfurt, combining premium specialty coffee with the latest beverage trends from Japan and Korea. The menu features artfully crafted matcha creations, eye-catching Cloud Drinks, and signature coffees that are as visually striking as they are exceptional in flavour.

With this concept, TOBE perfectly captures the spirit of a new generation of urban consumers. Every drink is designed with character—premium in quality, aesthetically presented, and prepared with meticulous attention to detail. Layered colours, velvety toppings, and carefully selected ingredients transform each beverage into a distinctive experience that seamlessly blends taste, design, and contemporary lifestyle.

The concept is both innovative and operationally efficient. TOBE embraces a streamlined takeaway model with clearly defined processes and a carefully curated beverage menu, ensuring fast service without compromising on quality or presentation. Located on the vibrant Friedberger Landstraße, the café offers the ideal solution for modern city life—whether for commuters, students, or professionals seeking an exceptional coffee experience on their way to work, university, or their next appointment.

Behind the concept is Loubna Meziane, who combines her passion for international café culture with strong entrepreneurial expertise. Inspired by her travels and the innovative beverage concepts she encountered in Japan, she has created a distinctive brand with a clear identity. As a trained interior designer, she places particular emphasis on aesthetics and brand experience, while her background in hospitality and social media enables her to identify emerging trends early and translate them into an authentic customer experience.

TOBE’s market launch was supported through the Frankfurt Start-up Fund programme. This early-stage financing enabled the establishment of the café and the acquisition of professional barista equipment, providing the foundation for a concept that combines international coffee culture with operational excellence.

Andreas Küppers implemented and runs the Frankfurt Start-up Fund (Frankfurter Gründerfonds) at FS Impact Finance since 2010. He has strong training skills and developed entrepreneurship lectures for the course of studies “Betriebswirt/-in” of the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.
