Play Football Anytime, Anywhere

In 2016, Daniel Foth created CeleBreak, a platform that connects football enthusiasts across the globe. Born and raised near Frankfurt, Daniel discovered his passion for the game early on. After completing his university studies, he spent three years at Lufthansa, where he co-founded the Lufthansa Football Club and played a key role in organizing the World Aviation Football Cup – a tournament featuring 32 international teams that even caught the attention of professional goalkeeper Manuel Neuer.

Daniel’s desire to bring people together through football remained strong. After relocating to Barcelona, he realized how challenging it could be to find new teammates. This insight led him to found CeleBreak. What started as informal “football & beer” gatherings quickly grew into a global community that enables players to enjoy the sport anytime, anywhere.

Through an intuitive mobile app, CeleBreak provides access to organized matches in cities such as Barcelona, Madrid, Frankfurt, Munich, and Dubai. In the past year alone, the platform hosted over 14,500 games and served more than 30,000 users. In Frankfurt, where CeleBreak has been active since 2018, matches take place in neighborhoods including Niederrad, Westend-Süd, and Sachsenhausen.

Daniel’s commitment to building communities through football was recognized in 2023, when Barça Innovation Hub became a shareholder, supporting the development of innovative football experiences. With CeleBreak, Daniel Foth has not only created a platform but also initiated a movement that uses the unifying spirit of football to connect people around the world.

To support field rentals and build a team dedicated to organizing amateur matches, Daniel Foth received a EUR 50,000 loan through the Frankfurter Gründerfonds.
