Florian joined FS Impact Finance in August 2020. Florian is an entrepreneurship enthusiast who previously spent his time supporting the Egyptian and Middle Eastern Start-up ecosystems. He has now found a new calling in the Restoration Seed Capital Facility, which supports private investments in the forest landscape restoration (FLR) and land-use space.

Florian holds two master’s degrees in economics, one from Sciences Po Paris, focusing on the economics of labour markets and the other from the University of Edinburgh, specialising in finance. He currently pursues a third master’s in business law. His professional background is in Investment, Business Development, Diplomacy and Boatbuilding.

Florian is – quite obviously – into water sports, in particular sailing and kitesurfing. He also enjoys land-based activities though, such as hiking, mountainbiking and skiing.
