Compliance management is a key contributor to drive our impact business. By striving to adopt “Best Practices” set within the financial industry I am personally proud to contribute to setting also Ethical Standards for our team-playing at FS Impact Finance.

Martin Rücker heads the compliance function at FS Impact Finance since September 2019. He is responsible for all regulatory-related themes including heading the anti-money-laundering function. He started his career at Commerzbank, where he worked as a credit analyst in Hamburg, and held various senior corporate relationship positions in Bielefeld and Singapore.

Prior to joining FS Impact Finance, Martin headed INTESA SANPAOLO’s German corporate banking branch in Frankfurt. His strong banking background in credit and relationship management provides expertise to FS Finance beyond his compliance function.

Martin is a trained banker and holds a Master in Business Administration-equivalent specialized in bank management from Frankfurt School of Finance and Management (Dipl. Bankbetriebswirt). Post studies certifications include the “European Certified Compliance Professional” program.

In his free time, Martin plays saxophone in a jazz big band, enjoys cycling, visiting art museums and time with his family.
