Since its opening in September 2023, this unique café has invited guests to immerse themselves in a world where culinary delight and floral beauty go hand in hand.
Sarah Ludwiczak, a seasoned hospitality professional with formal training as a hotel specialist and additional qualifications as a certified restaurant manager, and Timo Grunwald, a seasoned restaurateur and former head chef at Oosten Frankfurt, brought her vision of a truly distinctive café to Frankfurt Nordend. Their passion for French cuisine is reflected in the carefully curated menu: from flaky croissants to savory croques and refined flammkuchen, every dish is thoughtfully prepared using high-quality, locally sourced ingredients. A particular favorite among guests is the Eggs Benedict, celebrated for its perfect balance of flavor and texture.
But Fräulein Fleur is more than just a café. Sarah’s love for flowers is evident not only in the tasteful décor with floral wallpaper and fresh arrangements but also in the integrated flower boutique. After enjoying breakfast or lunch, guests can take home a hand-tied bouquet, adding a sensory flourish to the overall experience.
The ambiance at Fräulein Fleur is defined by warm hospitality and aesthetic sensibility. Sarah and Timo have developed a strong collaborative dynamic and place great emphasis on making every guest feel welcomed and at ease. Through seasonal specials and regular community events, the café remains vibrant, consistently offering new inspiration.
Fräulein Fleur is therefore more than a culinary meeting place. It is a small oasis of beauty and inspiration in the heart of Frankfurt.
Sarah Ludwiczak received EUR 50,000 through the Frankfurter Gründerfonds to cover a compensation payment, minor renovation work, the purchase of furnishings, and a liquidity reserve.
