Circular Living Systems Instead of Conventional Interior Fit-Outs

Rising construction costs, increasing office vacancies, and the growing shortage of housing require new approaches to the transformation of existing buildings. It is precisely within this context that CIRQTURE GmbH was founded in Frankfurt am Main by Denise Boxler and Verena Baranek.
CIRQTURE develops circular living systems designed to transform existing buildings in a rapid, flexible, and resource-efficient manner. Rather than relying on conventional interior fit-out processes, the company creates new residential and functional possibilities through prefabricated system furniture integrated into existing spaces. These solutions are reversible, reusable, and specifically conceived for long-term adaptability.
The concept follows a clearly defined product-based logic: standardisation instead of bespoke construction. This approach significantly reduces construction times, improves cost predictability, and enables properties to remain adaptable to evolving demands over time. At the same time, CIRQTURE contributes directly to ESG and sustainability objectives by extending the lifecycle of existing buildings and maintaining materials within a circular economy framework.
The founders combine many years of experience in interior fit-out, spatial planning, and the redevelopment of existing properties with a profound understanding of the operational requirements of contemporary real estate projects. Their ambition is to rethink interior fit-out not as a one-off construction process, but as a scalable and circular system.
CIRQTURE is supported by the Frankfurt Start-up Fund, which is currently financing the development of the company’s first mock-up and pilot project as the foundation for the further scaling of its business model.
