Finca Guatemala

Fundación Internacional Para La Asistencia Comunitaria (“FINCA Guatemala”) is an NGO (non-governmental organization) founded in 1998. The institution initially began lending primarily to groups with the focus on women. In 2008, the institution reached out to 14,000 customers while constantly increasing the range of products and the quality of services since its inception.

With a loan portfolio amounted to around 46 million US dollars at the end of 2019, loans have now also been exclusively reserved to women. In February 2020, the GLS AI microfinance fund extended a loan of 2 million USD to Finca Guatemala.
